Coin Flipper Editor's Review

Coin Flipper is a simple application that allows you to flip a virtual coin.

If you do need a coin to flip and there isn't one in your pocket, this is a life saver application. All you have to do is launch it and press the 'flip coin' button.

There is a 50/50 chance to guess which part of the coin appears. Don't forget to pick a guess before clicking the flip button.

The nice thing is the female voice that announces you which side of the coin has been chosen. It’s the same voice as Victoria from Mac OS X's Text-to-Speech engine.

I didn't like the fact that you can't choose different coins. There is an option that should do that, but it doesn't work. Clicking that button gives you a non-functional application to which the close button is disabled. You have to turn it off from the Dock, or kill it from the Activity Monitor, if you want to be a little harsh.

Pluses: is a nice time-wasting coin-flipping application.

Drawbacks / flaws: you can't chose another coin and the application becomes unusable if you do click that button.

In conclusion: yes, you can flip coins but it won't pick coins out of your pocket because it's free so you can come and get it.
